HPGE Annual Environmental Arts Camp
Date: Term 2, Week 4 (Tuesday to Thursday)
Dorroughby EEC delivers an annual Environmental Arts Camp with creative and environmentally minded local students from multiple schools. Students learn creative practices, environmental causes, and how to use their creativity to advocate for nature. Year 5 students are picked from local schools, based on their potential; maximum 3 students from participating schools.
Sustainability Outreach
Date: Term 2, Week 7
Sustainability Outreach is an annual collaborative partnership between the 24 NSW Environmental and Zoo Education Centres (EZEC) and partners which embraces the goal of ensuring all students have access to, and can actively engage in, high quality and innovative sustainability programs. Each year Dorroughby EEC aims to send qualified teachers to support curriculum-base sustainability learning in rural and remote areas.
