Our centre has a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces to support learning. We offer safe and comfortable areas for hands-on activities, group work and overnight stays.
Our local environment
Our centre is based in nestled amongst farmland, close to Nightcap National park, Ballina, Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads and Rocky Creek Dam.
These natural spaces are part of our everyday learning. Students can explore:
- walking tracks and bush trails
- habitats for native plants and animals
- creeks, wetlands, dams and rivers
- places with cultural or historical meaning
We use these outdoor spaces to support students to authentically learn about nature and sustainability.

We have both indoor and outdoor spaces for learning in all kinds of weather.
At our centre, we offer:
- outdoor areas
- indoor classrooms
- dormitories for overnight stays (18 beds in each dorm)
- access to walking trails and nearby bushland/dam
- water laboratory
- pocket forest
- yarning circle
- bush tucker garden
