Extension programs

Environmental Arts Camp

Dorroughby EEC delivers an annual Environmental Arts Camp with creative and environmentally minded local Year 5 students from multiple schools. Students learn creative practices, environmental causes, and how to use their creativity to advocate for nature. A maximum of 3 students from participating schools are identified by their school community as having high potential and being gifted in the environmental arts space.

Sustainability Outreach 2026

Sustainability Outreach is a collaborative partnership between the 24 NSW Environmental and Zoo Education Centres (EZEC) and partners. The NSW EZEC Centres embrace the role of ensuring all students have access to, and can actively engage in, the high quality and innovative sustainability programs. Sustainability Outreach travels to a different rural and remote location in Term 2, each year, engaging students in curriculum-based teaching and learning experiences, including hands-on activities, STEM, project-based learning and cooperative tasks - supporting high potential and gifted students from rural and remote schools.
