Environmental Arts Camp Dorroughby EEC 2015

Students from Stage 3 from around the Northern Rivers enjoyed the Environmental Arts Camp at Dorroughby on the 10th -12th August. They participated in Performing Arts activities such as dance and drama and enjoyed making their own shadow puppet story and props that they shared around the camp fire. The visual arts activities included digital photography and animation in the environment, art through milk and food dye as well as making their own boat from recycled materials. The high light of the camp was the making of a giant paper kiln that was lit on the second night and used as a back drop for our shadow puppet stories. Students also entered their art works in the Art V's Science Art Week in celebration of National Science Week.

Congratulations to Ziggy from Whian Whian P.S who won the senior visual art prize for his photograph of fungus at Rocky Creek Dam.

Also congratulations to runners up in the senior digital category to Jessie, Miriam, Emma, Jadzia, Talia and Krystal.
