Dorroughby EEC have created a virtual excursion that focuses on Mangroves and Littoral Rainforest in Northern NSW. This resource supports High School Geography and/or Science students and their teachers. It includes virtual abiotic and plant id transect sampling, passive quadrat sampling, experts in the field, geology, history and field sketching.

Impacts of different land uses on local catchments
This resource is a virtual site that focuses on the impact that land uses have on the local catchments of Lismore, Northern NSW, specifically focusing on the local catchment and Water Management.
Aims to gather data on water quality using samples from a number of sites in the catchment areas to enable assessment of the impacts of different land uses (forests, agriculture, urbanisation) on water quality.
Links to both NSW Geography and Science curriculums and the cross-curriculum subject of Sustainability Education.
